Mike Walkden

Mike joined Thompson Jenner in March 2024, moving to Exeter from Plymouth.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in August 2023 having previously qualified with AAT back in 2017. Mike started working in Accountancy in 2014 after a career change from social care. He had generally worked for small accountancy firms before joining a larger Plymouth firm where he gained experience in audit and working with much larger and complex clients. Mike was there for around 5 years before moving to Exeter and taking the role of Corporate Services Manager at Thompson Jenner. Mike works closely with a Partner to manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients, advising them on all aspects of accountancy and dealing with their compliance needs. Mike is based in the Exeter office.
