Alastair joined Thompson Jenner in 2015 having graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Keele. Alastair worked within the business & corporate services teams in Exeter while training to become a Chartered Accountant and by the time he qualified in 2018 had gained a range of experience working on all areas of accounts preparation, corporation tax and audit. Alastair has worked mainly on medium and small companies as well as unincorporated businesses. He now manages a client portfolio of incorporated and unincorporated businesses. Alastair is based in our Exmouth office.
Katherine started working at Thompson Jenner LLP in September 2020 after graduating from the University of Plymouth with a First Class Honours Degree in History and winning The Professor Kevin Jeffreys Prize for Outstanding and Original Research.
Currently studying for the ICAEW ACA qualification and working in the Corporate Services and Accounts department, Katherine has also taken part in some audit work. She is based in the Exeter office. Within her role, she prepares statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders as well as consolidated accounts for groups. She also has experience of preparing trust fund accounts, grant audits, turnover certificates and service charge audits.
