New proposals to promote business confidence

The government is planning significant changes to the registry of company information. The aim is to increase company transparency and clamp down on fraud and money laundering, which costs the UK economy more than £100 billion a year, according to the National Crime Agency.

Business Support Grant

The Chancellor has recently announced that as a result of the new lockdown, businesses that trade in the retail, hospitality or leisure sector will be able to receive a one off grant worth up to £9,000 per property. The level of grant awarded is dependent on the rateable value of the property.
